WELL-BEING & TIME2BEE

Barmston Village Primary School is pleased to be able to offer our young people access to school counsellors. Counselling sessions take place within the schools designated counselling room within school hours and with as little disruption to their lessons as possible. We also operate a self-referral drop in at lunchtime where children can come and have a chat with our designated counsellor.

Dorothy George who has worked at the school for over eight years is our Well-Being Manager who oversees the service in school. If you feel counselling would benefit your child please get in touch with her.

What is Counselling?

Counselling can help with any issues that may be negatively impacting your child, allowing them a place to explore their worries and anxieties in a safe and confidential environment. Early intervention addressing mental health issues at a younger age can help prevent difficulties later down the line.
